Awarded contract by ESA/ESTEC in JCR Systems consortium: microwave radiometer for future swath altimetry missions

(September 2019) Fluctus SAS has been awarded a contract by ESA/ESTEC in a consortium lead by JCR Systems (UK)

The goal of this study is to propose a design for a new generation of microwave radiometers that will provide atmospheric corrections for future altimetry missions (similar to the future CNES/NASA mission SWOT).

In collaboration with Informus (Frank Fell and Ralf Bennartz), a performance model will be developed as an end-to-end simulator including high resolution geophysical scenes, instrument simulator and ground prototype processing.
